Savoy Camping 01 Pictures

The annual Forth of July camping trip at Savoy Mountain State Park was moved to Memorial Day weekend this year. We did not sign up for a camp site because we expected to be busy setting up the Pawtuckaway Canoe-O course, for the Pawtuckaway Camping Weekend (Sept. 9-10). But, we finished setting up the course early so the Gould family decided to join the group at Savoy this year, after all.

We were forced to use the group camping site this year because we did not reserve another site. However, the group site was mostly empty of tents so this proved to be no problem. In addition, we took our dog, Kayla, with us because we did not make kennel reservations either.
